Faith & Family Roots

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Christian doctrine is an important part of Dr. Garcia's worldview and approach to serving others living with psychological or developmental disabilities. Her mission is to instill purpose and hope in her clients that go beyond a diagnosis, as she works to help adults and children reach professional or academic success despite any obstacles or challenges. A dream close to Dr. Garcia's heart is to support parents struggling with special cases and family dynamic issues so that they can raise strong adults with integrity and unshakeable values.

Dr. Garcia's values were instilled by her late mother, a single mom and woman full of integrity who raised three successful daughters by living as an example in parenting, faith, and integrity to Dr. Garcia and her sisters.
Mirian Garcia was an example of hard-work, ethics, sacrificial love, and faith. She was an immigrant, worked as a house-keeper, raised three daughters as a low-income single mother and always modeled ethics, resilience, and strength. She left a legacy of giving, not out of abundance, but out of the little she had and helping others, especially those who were disadvantaged and could not give anything in return. "My mom passed away in July of last year and she was such an example to my sisters and I and I want to share that with moms out there."
Her goal is to support moms who want to "raise their kids to be kind, disciplined, giving, and successful even when the odds are against them."
